Every so often your equipment will need a little care to keep it up and running in best conditions. The maintenance schedule below has been outlined by Bobcat as the best times to conduct maintenance and replacements of parts over the lifespan of your machine.

Use the links below to navigate the guide outlined by Bobcat. This guide will help you keep your equipment safe and healthy throughout it's lifespan of use. (Note: Each maintenance checklist should be completed after every outlined interval).

Key Maintenance & Repairs

After every 50 hours using your machine

1. Hydraulic Hoses and Tubelines – Check for damage and leaks. Repair or replace as needed.
2. Parking Brake, Foot Pedals, Hand Controls and Steering Levers, or Joysticks – Check for correct operation. Repair or adjust as needed.
3. Track Drive Sprocket Nuts – Check for loose sprocket nuts and tighten to correct torque.
4. Track Tension – Check tension and adjust as needed.
5. Engine / Hydrostatic Drive Belt – Perform at first 50 hours, then as scheduled. Check for wear or damage. Adjust or replace as needed.
6. Engine Oil and Filter – Perform at first 50 hours, then as scheduled. Replace oil and filter.

After 100 hours of machine up-time

1. Battery – Check cables, connections, and electrolyte level; add distilled water as needed.
2. Engine Oil and Filter – Perform every 100 hours when operating under severe conditions. Replace oil and filter.

After 250 hours of machine use or 12 months time

1. Engine / Hydrostatic Drive Belt – Check for wear or damage. Adjust or replace as needed.
2. Drive Belts (Alternator, air conditioning, water pump) – Check condition. Replace as needed.
3. Bobcat Interlock Control System (BICS™) – Check the function of the lift arm bypass control.

Every 500 hours up-time or 12 months of time

1. Fuel Filter – Replace filter element.
2. Hydraulic Charge Filter, Hydraulic Reservoir Breather Cap – Replace the charge filter and the reservoir breather cap.
3. Hydrostatic Motor Carrier – Replace oil with high performance synthetic oil.
4. Engine Oil and Filter – Replace oil and filter.
5. Heater Coil and Air Conditioning Evaporator (if equipped) - Clean the heater coil and air conditioning evaporator. Clean the plenum drains.

After every 1,000 hours or every 12 months

1. Hydraulic/Hydrostatic filter - Replace hydraulic/hydrostatic filter.
2. Hydraulic reservoir - Replace fluid,
3. Final drive transmission -Replace the fluid.
4. Engine valves - Adjust valve clearance.

After 1,500 hours of up-time or every 12 months

1. Coolant – Replace the coolant.

After each 3,000 hours of use

1. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) / AdBlue® Filter – Replace the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) / AdBlue® filter.
