The Ammann eARX line-up electrifies the roadbuilding equipment offerings with a capable machine able to take the place of traditional internal combustion engine rollers. This equipment can run for around 8 hours with an operating weight of 5,820 lbs depending on the application conditions. This machine can operate at the same level as the combustion engine version ARX 26-2 with few differences, the electrified model weighs 300 lbs more than the combustion model as well as holding a tighter turning radius and steering angle.

With the absence of an internal combustion engine, you can use this equipment in confined or inside areas due to a lack of noise and air pollution produced. Compared to combustion engine rollers the eARX produces 46% less noise in operation. The machine can be placed on charge and ready to go with 100% capacity in just 3 hours with a high-speed external 200-amp charger or in 12 hours with the standard 50-amp system. Additionally, with the machine being electric powered there’s much less maintenance costs associated with ownership over the long-term compared to combustion engine versions.
