The Bobcat DNA Expands into Material Handling and Portable Power...

As of the start of 2024 Bobcat will become an additional name in the market to supply forklifts and portable power solutions. This expansion comes alongside the exit of Doosan equipment after 50 years with Bobcat taking over the mantle within the market. This follows the choice in 2023 to rebrand Doosan's heavy equipment under the new DEVELON brand.

With Westerra Equipment we will continue to provide quality support and service for Doosan and Bobcat customers old and new. As we look to phase out the Doosan brand we will be refreshing our inventory with new forklift and portable power equipment from Bobcat.

The equipment line-up offered by Doosan will be phased out as we switch to Bobcat with a selection of the prior equipment continuing through its lifecycle under Bobcat. Currently, as we work to phase out of Doosan branded machines in inventory we expect new Bobcat white and orange colored equipment will begin to hit yards across Canada by the later half of Q2 2024. The first Bobcat branded material handling models will be shown in person at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas on March 14th - 18th and other events following (ProMat, LogiMAT etc).

Bobcat will be expanding into new areas of forklifts, generators, air compressors and portable lighting in 2024, all of which will be offered by Westerra Equipment moving forward.
